Double Major

Students wishing to major not only in Italian but also another discipline are allowed to share up to five courses which count for both majors.  This is especially appealing for Italian and Special Field Majors.  If your special field within Italian is, say, Philosophy, up to five philosophy courses that count for the Italian & Special Fields Major may also count for your Philosophy Major, bringing your total number of courses for the double major down by five.  It’s a deal!

Interested students must petition a request to double major at UCLA.
